Ambios Portugal

The functions of Ambios PT are the following:

a) Promote education and awareness of the principles and practice of sustainable development and biodiversity conservation;

b) Ensure the contact and exchange of information and experience between the scientific community and the society, through the organization of seminars, meetings, etc. and the publication of informational contents;

c) Promote vocational training and volunteering opportunities in nature conservation in Portugal and abroad;

d) Promote and disseminate studies on sustainable development and biodiversity, contributing to the scientific and technical bases for the application of management and conservation measures;

e) Promote collaborations between Portuguese specialists and those of other nationalities;

f) Foster harmony and solidarity among all those who contribute to the principles and practice of sustainable development and biodiversity conservation;

g) Establish partnerships for completing the previous purposes.
